    this is basically very simple.

     

    "Discovery" means the methods in Snow Inventory to collect asset information by checking AD or scanning the network.

    You can find these assets in the "Snow Inventory Admin Console" on the Snow Inventory Server under "Discovery".

     

    By comparing the list of discovered computers with the list of computers that actually sent inventory data (see "Devices" in the Snow Inventory Admin console) you can find the gap between inventoried and discovered computers.

Hello, does documentation exist that outlines the Logic behind the following report in SLM: "Discovered Assets that are not inventoried." I would like to know the logic/meaning behind the terms "Known Assets" & "Not Inventoried Assets"
