You only should need to have to have support create the agent for you and once you have the package files downloaded locally you can then use them until such time as you need new versions. Snow only sporadically update the agents so they change rarely.

Or try to join the beta of the 'Package Builder' in Atlas. That way you could create the Linux installer package and for other OS-es yourself 😉
