Mac Agent - Schedule scan is not working
Hi,
We have installed the Mac Agent. When I run the snowagent manually, it is creating the .snowpack file and pushing it to the inventory.
But, the scheduled scan is not starting at the defined time as per snowagent.config file.
Kindly let us know what needs to done further.

I have installed the Agent by the below way,
sudo installer –pkg <package name>.pkg –target /
Do I need to provide any other permission to the snowagent? if yes, how?

The scan time is only set in the Snowagent.Config file for Windows machines
For MAC (and Linux) agents the scan time is controlled by a locally scheduled task.

Mac schedules are controlled by LaunchDaemons....its discussed here and here :-)

I understand we need to edit the file /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.snowsoftware.Inventory.plist custom schedule.
We have tried changing the time in one of the MAC machine. But could not see the Agent getting started at the desired time. Also could not find anything on snowagent.log. For Log, we have enabled the 'Verbose' mode.
We would like to know what are the steps needs to be followed when altering the Custom schedule for the Agent.

When did you get this Mac agent ?
I'm asking because I think there was an issue resolved on 21st November where the Snow agent packager was not creating the correct schedules for Mac agents.
If the agent was issued before then - I would suggest you request a new one.
