AshishPatil9 asked a question.
Hi Folks,
I am receiving below error message while Testing ServiceNow Connection. Is it because the site does not have a secure binding (HTTPS) and cannot accept SSL connections? (For Example - http://snowconsole.com)
We are using below SIM version,
SIM Version - 5.9
Error Message:
ERROR SnowSoftware.ServiceNow.Common.Integrations.Integration [(null)] [(null)] - Exception in TestServiceNowConnection()
System.Net.Http.HttpRequestException: An error occurred while sending the request. ---> System.Net.WebException: The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel.
Kindly help to fix this error message.
Thanks in advance.
Aside from your SIM version being very old so an upgrade is suggested there you probably need to do either of the following:
a) patch the servers .Net Framework to support TLS 1.2 by default.
b) Or use this article to force TLS 1.2 to be used by default
How to enable Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.2 on clients - Configuration Manager | Microsoft Docs
Hope this helps.
