How are SLM administrators setting up and tracking compliance for 3rd party software architected via internal web servers???

I am finding that a lot of our 3rd party applications are set up on internal web servers therefore I am not able to track license usage for compliance. Only the main install on the server. How are Snow users managing compliance? How are you setting up the licensing?
