In the Snow Inventory Server SMACC User Guide, there is this paragraph.
Anyone knows what this is for exactly? When would the Inventory Server process TXT and EXE files?

I'd be interested as well as one would expect only .snowpacks and .inv to be accepted. I am wondering what the use case would be to accept other file formats?
It looks like @Sumit Singh​ asked this question a couple of years back, but the answer did not get migrated to the new community. I wonder if Sumit can remember? It looks like they were wanting to limit what kind of files were being processed by their inventory server... Like Kris, I didn't realise that it would process anything but snowpack and inv files.
