Office365 automated license change

Hi Everyone

We have a customer today who would like to automate the optimisation of Office365 licenses. I know that it's possible to automate the installation and installation of the office software dependant on adding or removing O365 users. However, what this customer would like is to automate the choice of o365 license (ie. identifying users who aren't using the proplus office suite) from E3 to E1 licenses, and therefore uninstall the office suite and then change the users o365 license via the o365 admin console.

Is this level of automation possible?

Hi Adam, There are some prepared automation components for for Office365 optimization to use jointly between Snow License Manager and Automation Platform. The things you will need can be accessed through your local Snow services organisation (maybe ?).     Hi All, I have no experience with o365 optimizer and AP. That said; all we need is an exposed SLM API end point, which contains the o365 dat sets, including o365 license type. If you can do the leg work and confirm this information is exposed in the SLM API then it will be possible to write an AP scheduled task that invokes into SLM and reads this information, after which anything is possible Regards Filip
