  • Hi Rick You could do this in a number of different ways. The easiest would be to add a customer field to the application (if you had a single product code such as a MS MAK key). You can then edit the application, add the product code field under custom information with the code required and it will then appear at the bottom of the application information field. If it's a code that's different for each user/computer then I'd suggest creating custom fields for each of the applications that you want. This will then appear for each computer. The final way would be to store them as a document under either the application or computer, but this sort of defeats the issues doesn't it!   Thanks     Adam

    Probably the best place for the serial number/license keys is to use the purpose built field against the license record as well. Normally, it is a decision if you really want people to see this information that don't need to. But its the best place for it if you are looking for a home for this information. This means as you buy a license and key a specific key for that purchase you record it against that purchase.
