SCCM connector and Cloud application metering

Hi all,

Does Cloud Application Metering works when using SCCM connector for clients/desktops after activation in SMACC?

Or is Inventory with Snow agent a prerequisite for Cloud app metering and SaaS connectors?

Hi Maria, this question can best be answered by someone from Snow but as far as I know the Snow agent (even Windows and macOS only) is needed for this. As a remark, please check my idea too. Kind regards, Gert-Jan.

Hi Maria, as ‌ correctly assumes, the Cloud App feature is only available with the Snow Inventory Agent. The Cloud application feature consists of two key parts, a browser plugin that can collect the relevant data from the browser, and then the Snow Inventory Agent that can map the data to the application rules and send it as a part of the snowpack file to the inventory server. / Martin
