Hi Kishan, I gave a quick look into our known cases and I found only 1 record of an error like yours, but had other things related too, so I'm unsure that the specific analysis done may be useful for you too. I'd suggest you to contact our Support team and have the configuration/settings checked. Cheers,   Ester Memoli   Customer Success Manager EMEA   Snow Software srl - Milano - Italia   Are you a SLM user and are willing to answer to a short survey about it?

Hi ‌, Did you already check if your Snow Inventory Server license may be full? You can check this in the log of Snow Inventory Server here: C:\ProgramData\SnowSoftware\Inventory\Server If the log is very full, stop and start the service of Snow Inventory Server. It will report back at the very top of the log if the license is valid and if enough seats are there. BR Michael
  • It looks like the SQL connection was lost in this error message.  How large  are the snowpacks that goes with the error messages?  If they are huge, like several megabytes large, they probably stem from Unix or linux agents with large filesystems. These can take long time to process, and possibly lead to a SQL timeout.  If size is not the common denominator,  can you see if there is a pattern to the errors?  Like, do they happen during the same time every day, or a specific day of the week? Is it roughly the same number of computers every time?   I'm thinking that it could be intersting to see what the SQL server is doing  when these errors happens. Are there errors in the SQL server logs that corresponds to these errors that could give an insight?  Is the SQL server rebooted, down for maintenance or patching?

    • Hello Martin, DUJ job running and taking too much time (more than 12 Hrs). Since yesterday (23-06-2019 21:30 PM IST) still running. I already open support ticket and snow team still working. (CS0047772) Only Windows endpoints configured (Total 1800 out of which approx. 1700 reporting). I checked for Inventory Server log and found below error: [System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException]: Execution Timeout Expired.  The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding. Thanks, Kishan Pant

      • You are probably correct that this is related to SQL issues, and that it is related to the DUJ running longer than normal. The size of the snowpack files looks pretty standard.  Once support has helped you resolve the DUJ issues, you can  move these files to the incoming folder to have them reprocessed.
        • Hi Martin, After Server team resolve the DB server performance issue (By re-installing windows device drivers) now all snowpack files processing fine without going into error folder. Thanks, Kishan Pant
          • Good news Kishan!  Glad to hear that the issue is resloved, thank you for telling us the resolution.
