Snow Integration Manager - Dropbox Connector

Hi All,

Has anyone out there successfully configured the Dropbox Connector?

I am interested in the Dropbox API settings within the Dropbox Dev portal, outside of what is supplied within the Snow Integration Manager - Dropbox Connector Guide.

Hi! Some of the users deployed this connector. If there is any troubles to configured? Maybe share more details if there is a problem to configure this DropBox connector. Best Regards, /Muhammad Irfan

  Thanks Muhammad. I have an open ticket to investigate further and thought it worth asking the community of success stories. After the next call I will update this question with our experience to date and if it is resolved, then for sure will be sharing.

Hi All, As promised, update: It appears that a SIM change needed to be applied (yes we are running the latest version). I am running a Beta version of SIM created by Support and can say I successfully have Dropbox Data populated by the SaaS Connector! Yay. Process to discovery is was SIM was to run the process through Postman which was successful, so had to be SIM or SLM.

Yes I have a ticket open with Support as we couldn't get the connector to work at all. Came up with an authentication error. It's been logged as a defect and I'm waiting for a fix. I've asked for an ETA, but nothing to date. Interesting that they would provide you with a beta version to test and haven't mentioned that to me. I will update my ticket and ask if I can use it too? Thanks Adam

  I've been informed that this defect is a high priority fix, but as yet I haven't been given any ETA of a release date. Also, my understanding is that the hotfix provided to Sharon will only work if you are only using SIM to integrate with Dropbox. if you have any other connectors configured SNOW won't provide you the hotfix (guessing it really is a beta code product and they don't want it breaking production systems)

    Hi ‌, That is correct, the beta was only a test to confirm the function of the connector - it is not meant to be distributed if other connectors are in use. As far as i can tell, the fix didn't make it to the next weeks SIM 5.16 release (due to QA), however is scoped to be included in one of the following releases.
