Is it necessary to install the Snow agent on each and every machine

let's say I want to gather the information from infrastructure through SNOW agent, so is it necessary to install the snow agent in each machine.

Please help me out.

Good day Ram Charan Kumar, there's the option to do an agentless scan, manually, but I would say it should be used only for specific cases, like critical servers, where the administrator might not want to install additional software. Yes, you need something that can collect hardware and software data from each machine, like the Snow Agent does. It is also possible to use a third party source of inventory data, the most commonly used one is SCCM. If you already have SCCM and SCCM agents installed on each computer, you can use the Snow Integration Manager to pull all computer data from SCCM instead of installing the Snow Agent on each machine. The Snow agent will provide more features, like cloud app metering and custom script execution for example, but the SCCM solution can be a nice way of getting up to speed fast, or do not need the extra features delivered with the Snow Agent.
