Inventory 5/6 - Device View Alphabetical Ordering

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knew how to order your device views in alphabetical order.

We have hosted platforms so each time we get a new customer to add a view for, they appear at the bottom. I've searched high and low in Inventory and I can't seem to find a way to order it alphabetically. It just appears they are ordered by date/time of being added. This is also frustrating when we are creating additional views for customers.

Any suggestions are welcome.

(I have already raised this on the Snow Ideas Board but I've not had anything back yet)

Hi Aurora, I haven't found a way to reorder the filter items unfortunately, they seem to be ordered by their given ID in the database, and the filter ID is just a counter that increases by one for each new filter added. But something that might help to know is that the drop down allows for text searches too, you don't have to expand it to choose your filter. If you just click the drop down and start typing, it will go to the filter with that name. So if you start your filters with the customer name, you can easily find all your filters for that customer by just typing the customer name.

  Hi Martin, I appreciate your feedback, I didn't know that so I'll use that moving forward. I know its such a small cosmetic issue, but I really hope a ordering feature is enabled. Kind regards, Aurora.
