Reports taking an age to load
Hi, I've got a question around the length of time reports seem to be loading since we've been upgraded to SLM8 some reports take an absolute age (more than 10 minutes) to load.. Wonder if anyone else has experience this since moving from SLM7 to SLM8?  The following options in the Basic System Settings are the probable cause: Any suggestions? Cheers Harry

    Hi Harry, 10 minutes for a report to load is a long time. Is this the case for all reports or for some specific reports? Have you ran the SUS (Snow Update Service) and updated all componenents all components of the SNow platform to the lastest version? Regards, Peter

      Hi Peter, Generally it's running the Microsoft/Adobe license reports , and takes an absolute age, have checked SUS and it's all up to date. Kind Regards, Harry

        Hi Harry, If this is the case after upgrading to SLM 8, can you verify the following;  - Snow Application Requirements are met(minimum hardware requirements, including SQL/DB server)  - Depending on the amount of data, it would be good to use criteria before executing the report, does this help? If these are all correctly in place and all components are updated correctly, i would advise to create a support ticket for further investigation. Best Regards, Burak

          Hi Burak, During the upgrade from SLM 7 to SLM8 we met the requirements for the upgrade so that was checked before upgrading, as for having Criteria already marked that doesn't have any affect on the reports loading time. Will raise a ticket with support. Cheers Harry

              Hi Christian, I forgot to log it with support, but that being said i just think it's more around the fact that in this version you have to specify more information within the Criteria before you actually run the report. Cheers Harry
