No users in web UI

No users in web UI

I checked our "List all users" in the SLM 8 web portal, but there are no users in there, it seems something went wrong: we don’t see any user!

I checked already some settings, but all seems to be ok. Also the error logs in the License server are empty.

I also checked the customer configuration in the SMACC, but I don’t see something wrong.

When I look in the “users” tab of a server, I do see users.

What could be the cause?

Hi Dirk, When you click on the user under the server, does it take you to a page showing you information about the user, such as last logged on time, number of devices used, licenses assigned to them etc?

  Hi Liam, indeed, when I lookup a system and dive into the details, in the "users" tab I can find last logon info and so on. Even diving deeper into the user, I can see which applications and so on are connected to that user.

    Hi Dirk, And nothing shows up under C:\Program Files\Snow Software\Snow License Manager\Web\Logs\Error (Or whatever your install path is) when you try to load List All Users? If there are no logs, it might be worth logging a support ticket with Snow Support or your Snow Partner to have it investigated. It's quite weird that it's showing the information under the machines but not in the actual report itself. I could only thing of there being a rogue filter, but that's quite unlikely.

    Hi Liam, thanks for your reply! And indeed, it's weird. And idd, I logged a ticket to the support after checking everything I know (which is not that much ;-) ). No error logs about it... I suppose there might be somewhere a mistake in the config because it seems it has been always like that... Keep you posted! Thanks and have a nice day!
