Snow AP Readiness Check - SQL Server Connection Failed

Hi @ll, I like the Snow AP Readiness Check Tool, unfortunately I have a small problem in the last step "SQL Server Connection". The tool can't connect to the server to create the test data bases. During the installation there are no problems and the Snow AP DBs are created correctly and AP works without problems. So it seems to be only a local problem in the Readiness Check. The settings on the SQL Server and the AP Server correspond to the requirements documents. From the AP server I can also connect to the SQL server with SQL Mgmt Studio without any problems (IP, DNS & SQL alias) Any ideas? Thanks and Best Mathias

Hi Mathias, I am not sure how the Readiness Check works, but it should use the user context that runs the process, same as the installer. Can you confirm that you are using two different accounts when running the Readiness Check vs the installation? If you are using the same account when running both applications I will look into the Readiness Check and see if I can find something Cheers /Oskar

  Hi Oskar, I'm using the same account when running both applications. And this account has the appropriate permissions (admin, DB rights, etc). Thanks for looking deeper into the Readiness Check Tool. Best, Mathias

    Hi Mathias, I've informed the people working with the Readiness Check Tool, and they will review it to see if the issue can be found and resolved, but this is not scheduled for the near future. I believe you can proceed on the current server to install, and please post here again if you find this issue on another server setup and I will poke the team working with the tool again!
