The screenshot shared shows these devices have different serial numbers, and so the records will be treated as unique devices. To be treated as the same devices, they would need to have identical serial numbers, names and domain names.

Importing data about the same devices from multiple inventory sources can be difficult, especially when working with different virtualization technologies such as LPARS, Zones, etc. This is because there is no consistent or definitive way of representing serial numbers for these types of systems that is used by all inventory gathering tools.

As such, best practice would tend to be to avoid this in the first place, and consistently use only one tool for gathering inventory from these systems.
