  • Are you able to say what application you are referring too?

    If it is Snow License Manager version 9 then just use the SUS and read any Release Notes to find out if other components need updating.

    If you are talking about SLM v8 then you best talk to a Flexera/Snow partner or your account manager to engage professional services to help you.

    Other things like Snow agents are just in-place upgrades.

  • Hi, in the past, when we upgraded SLM, there was a document that stated: For SLM version 9.XX, please upgrade Component A to this version, Component B to this version. I just want to make sure when we upgrade to SLM 9.38, that all of the other components are that required version level. Just looking for that documentation. Thanks

      That will be more looking at the Release Notes for each version of SLM between what you are on and the version you are going to.

      I would add the SUS will not let you update if say Inventory Server is below a version the new version of SLM requires.

    • This document was only for upgrades from earlier versions to version 9, not a generic "how to update" documentation.

       

      For updating since version 9, SUS will handle this, as Joe mentioned.

Where is the documentation on the upgrade? What other components need to be upgraded as well? Is there a process of which parts should be done first?
