Inventory Device Properties - Location
We would like to create authorizations based on the Location field. The location coordinator should see the devices that are in their location. However, there are also coordinators who are responsible for an entire region.
The hierarchy is Country -> Region 1 / Region 2 -->Region 2 -> City 1 / City 2
Is it possible to assign authorizations at region level?
Is the Location field a real hierarchy or is it just a text field?

The enterprise groups (including Location) are true hierarchies. To restrict users so that they only see objects from a certain location (and its children), you need to make sure that the role assigned to the user (IT Asset Accounts) is scoped to the allowed location.
