Carola is correct any automatically discovered asset such as computers or software or even users can be edited but only certain fields. It is possible to add meta data to computers and users such as OU, value, departments etc, all the other attributes are kept up to date by the discovery source. For applications it is possible to add / change the default metric for instance so that the system calculates your entitlement position correctly.
yes I was able to add column in computer search section, but, The column does not transfer over to the non inventoried assets report? is it possible to edit non inventoried assets?
Hi Ronan,
Unfortunately no the non inventoried assets are not actually in SLM it is a 'snapshot' of the asset in AD that don't have a Snow Agent.

You will find a possibilty to edit a computer in License Manager .
You can for example edit the organisation, add Notes, add custom fields, add financial info,...
But you cannot edit inventoried data like applications or users.
