Is it ok to delete users that are not 'NoLoggedOnUser', are quarantined and have left the organisation? Their computer is either in stock or has been re-assigned to someone else?

  • Hi Michelle, We are deleting those users but usually you do not need to do it manually. 'NoLoggedOnUser': You can set an exclusion in the SLM SMACC to filter this account out using the USER_EXCLUSION setting under SLM>Configuration>Basic settings . You can delete it once from SLM and it will not appear again. There is good help on the community about that. We use the following filter here:  root,%\root,%NoLoggedOn%,% tty?? %,%nobody%,%Restorer,%\[_]%,[_]% Quarantined users can be deleted automatically as well, still using the SLM SMACC but on another set of settings: USER_QUARANTINE_ACTIVE must be set, USER_QUARANTINE_DAYS and USER_QUARANTINE_DELETE can be defined according to your needs and USER_QUARANTINE_DELETE_ACTIVE must also be set.
