ClaroRead 7 Pro - duplication of reporting

We are seeing duplication of reporting for an application. The application is listed as both: ClaroRead Pro 7 ClaroRead 7 Pro Licence manage reports the same number of installs and same assets and users under both applications. One is labelled as a bundle the other is not In SMACC there is a distinct rule for ClaroRead Pro 7 This application then seems to get associated with the bundle called ClaroRead 7 Pro (note the 7 Pro/Pro 7 name switch) being captured which looks like it is leading to duplication of reporting? How do I go about getting this fixed? Regards Gareth

Hi Gareth, You are correct, the installation of "Claroread pro 7" will also trigger the bundle named claroread 7 pro. It is a bit clearer when you look at a computer with claroread pro 7 installed, then you see that the installation is a subnode to the bundle: The solution seems to be by design, and the bundle fills a purpose to include other Claro products too. But if this is a good solution or not I cannot really say, I don't know the Claro product line and bundle packaging / bundle names that well. (products like Claro View would be included in the bundle and covered by a bundle license.) If you think this is incorrect, the best thing you can do is to open a ticket with the support team, and describe how you think it should be listed / named. They will then discuss it with the DIS team who are responsible for the global application rules to make adjustments if they find it required. / Martin

  Thanks Not sure if that is an issue or not! It's certainly does not appear to be consistent across all bundles. When I look at bundles for the below three, there are no corresponding separate lines for the application Adobe Creative Cloud for Teams cdrtools (Linux) Easy Media Creator 10 Business (image attached) But if I look at Symantec NetBackup 7.6 I do see a similar thing to ClaroRead and reports against bundle and non-bundle Though like ClaroRead 7 Pro/ClaroRead Pro 7 the application name and bundle name are different. Symantec NetBackup 7.6 Client and Symantec NetBackup 7.6 The bundle and application name for Easy Media Creator 10 Business appear to be the same. Would I be correct in thinking that if the application name were the same as the bundle name only the single line would be displayed?
