Hi Dheemant, you only need one of them: Application Name, Application Part Number number or the SKU. The best way is to use the SKU. You can select the type of identity field in the import settings. Best regards, Ines
    • Hi Ines, Thanks for your reply. I know the three parameters for license to map to a application: Application Name, Application Part Number number or the SKU. want to know how SNOW differentiate between Application Part number & SKU??

Hi Dheemant, here I found a user guide about data import field description. USER GUIDE DATA IMPORT FIELD DESCRIPTION I hope this helpful. Application part number and SKU (stock keeping unit) are linked to the same field name in SLM Web. Best regards, Ines
        • Hi Ines, Thanks for your  reply, appreciate your effort for looking in the manual. Yup, already seen that in the manual. That's what got me confused about the Application Part number. Normally we receive SKU data from our customers.  Does Application Part Number mean Reseller/vendor part number or OEM part number ??

SKU is assigned on the application by Snow's DIS team.  Part Number is a field that can be updated on the Application through SnwoMACC so there's not a specific definition of its use but your identification of reseller/vendor part number is a common use.  This would allow you to create a license based on the reseller part number if you did not have the publisher SKU.  I've also seen it used to link the SLM application name to an external software catalog.
