Highlights from July

JetBrains Recognition Script — Beta

We've significantly enhanced our JetBrains recognition capabilities to deliver more accurate identification across the JetBrains product portfolio.

The new script can now:

  • Accurately identify editions and versions across JetBrains products, including Professional, Ultimate, Community, and other editions.
  • Recognise both JetBrains Toolbox-managed and standalone installations.
  • Detect licensing status for each product, including trial, commercial, and JetBrains Account-activated licences.
  • Identify devices that may be licensed through a JetBrains All Products Pack subscription based on available entitlement indicators.

These improvements provide greater visibility into JetBrains deployments and licensing, helping customers achieve more accurate software recognition and compliance reporting.

The script is currently in beta testing, and we are looking for customers interested in validating the new recognition capabilities within their environments before general availability.

To request access to the beta script, please submit a request via DIS Form
