Business Services Insights – Sustainability Enhancements

We are excited to announce the latest enhancement to the Business Services Insights Power BI report, now incorporating Sustainability data and visuals. This update expands the report’s scope beyond software (SW), hardware (HW), and vulnerability insights, providing users with a holistic and unified view of their business services including their environmental impact.

  • Integrated Sustainability Data
    • Carbon footprint and energy consumption metrics are mapped to the same Business Service dimension for consistency. (Manufacturer Provided)
  • New Visuals & Analysis
    • Added visuals to highlight carbon footprint and sustainability impact by Business Service.
    • Dedicated/combined page to view sustainability alongside SW, HW, and Vulnerability insights.
  • Filtering & Comparison
    • Users can filter, segment, and compare sustainability insights alongside technology and risk data for a service-level view.

We have expanded the Host-VM Relationship Power BI report to include Virtualization Technology visibility. Previously, the report only provided VM and Host data. With this release, customers gain deeper insights into their virtualization environments by viewing and filtering based on the specific virtualization technologies in use.

  • VM-Host data with enhanced Virtualization Type.
  • Report Updates
    • Power BI charts, filters, and tables now display Virtualization Type as an additional dimension.
  • Consistent labeling applied across the platform: Eg
    • Hyper-V VM → hyperv
    • Solaris Zone VM → zone
    • Nutanix VM → nutanixvm
    • VMware → vmware
