Official release of FlexNet Inventory Agent 24.1.1
We are pleased to announce the release of the FlexNet Inventory Agent 24.1.1
This release includes:
- SaaS Webmetering (Flexera One SaaS Management Only)
- Enhanced Publisher detection for MacOS applications
- Fix for Docker and Podman not starting after agent installation
Customer Impact:
- The FlexNet Inventory Agent is now able to collect SaaS applications usage via Browser extensions (Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari). Now customer can more accurately detect shadow IT and optimize their SaaS licensing. This features requires Flexera Beacon 24.1.1 or newer.
- Publisher information is now being collected for MacOS applications. The detection is now more accurate and more extensive.
- Services for Docker and Podman monitors are now correctly enabled and started post FlexNet Inventory Agent installation.
