SaaS Management: Enhanced Salesforce Family view

Release date: March 31, 2025

Release Status: General availability

Customer pain point

Salesforce offers over 100 different subscriptions, licenses, and feature sets, each with associated costs and optimization opportunities. Our customers struggle to gain visibility into their current environment, identify Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and monitor changes based on these subscriptions. As Salesforce continues to grow through acquisitions and expand its functions, this issue becomes increasingly complex. Customers often receive a limited view of their entire portfolio, and invoices frequently contain hidden clauses and bundled products, making it difficult to identify what has been purchased.

How we are solving it

The new Product Family page is designed to address the complexities of managing Salesforce’s extensive range of subscriptions, licenses, and feature sets. Here’s how it can help:

1.Centralized visibility: The Product Family page consolidates all subscription and license information into a single, easy-to-navigate location. This centralization helps customers gain a comprehensive view of their entire Salesforce environment.

2.Dashboards and KPIs: The page features intuitive dashboards that display Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) at a glance. These dashboards make it simple to monitor changes and track important metrics, ensuring that customers can quickly identify areas that need attention.

3.Advanced filtering system: With the immense amount of subscriptions available, our advanced filtering system allows customers to easily select the most important items. This system enables users to customize their views and focus on the subscriptions that matter most to them.

4.Enhanced identification: By bringing all subscription details into one place and offering clear, visual representations, the Product Family page helps customers identify products and services more efficiently. This reduces the risk of overlooking important details and ensures better decision-making.

Overall, this enhancement empowers customers to manage their Salesforce subscriptions more effectively, providing the tools needed to optimize costs and improve operational efficiency. It represents a significant improvement for existing customers and is a step toward our unified product sets and the launch of Flexera One SaaS Management.

  • This is greath new. This means that we should be able to see both: active, inactive and no activity on the users who is assigned a license?

    • JohnSorensenDK (Flexera Software)

That's correct, and there are more improvements planned in the roadmap...

      Thanks,

      John Sorensen
