What is the difference in SNMP collection versus SSH collection for Linux devices?
Answer:
For inventory, SNMP collection will not be able to provide OS details (name, version, distribution, etc), and the data around CPUs is very limited. For performance, SNMP collection may get good flow data or not, depending on the system and the SNMP configuration. (Some vendors do not support all standards based SNMP MIBs)
