Answer:
At the current time, no. If a rescan has been started and is impacting the environment, disable the virtual machine network interface. This will allow the process to complete, albeit with errors, without impacting the environment. Turning the RN150 appliance off abruptly may lead to data corruption and does not ensure the rescan will not start when the appliance is returned to service.
