When a user logs into Flexera One, they may see a red popup error in the top right corner with the following message:

UserError.png

When an org has the capability for IT Asset Management (formerly FlexNet Manager Suite Cloud), the system checks the user's permissions in the IT Asset Management subsystem to determine which menu items should be visible in Flexera One. If the user's IT Asset Account is disabled, then this permission check fails, and the error is shown.

Solution

If you do not need to use any of the features included with IT Asset Management then this error can be safely ignored.

If you do need access to IT Asset Management or wish to remove the error, you will need to have an administrator enable your account.

  1. Go to Administration > IT Asset Accounts.
  2. Select the user.
  3. Select the Status drop-down menu and choose Enabled.
  4. Select Save.EnabledNoRole.png

NOTE: While enabling the user, roles for IT Asset Management can be assigned to control what they can do in this portion of Flexera One. If you enable the user but do not assign a role, the error message will no longer occur but the user will not be able to access IT Asset Management.
