After integrating with Adobe Creative Cloud, it may be noted that while users are imported correctly, the Activity Status and Last Activity columns for those users will show as "Never". This is not an issue with Flexera One SaaS Management. Rather, this is an Adobe limitation. This is due to the fact that Adobe does not provide an API that can be used to pull user activity data. This is also the reason why the Creative Cloud integration does not have an Application Access task like many of the other integrations. Once Adobe provides an API to get user activity data, support for user activity will be added to Flexera One.

I am also facing the same issue. We are unable to view the user activity for creative cloud integration. If we are unable to view the user activity, there is no point in doing this integration. We are using the User Management API connection in adobe portal to complete the integration as per the instructions in SaaS management documentation. Please let us know is there any other steps needs to be performed or any other settings needs to be reviewed in Adobe side to view the usage activity.
@creativecloud @adobeintegration
@venugopal5690 - The Adobe Cloud API does not return any logon/usage activity.
Flexera One ITAM/FNMS brings value by comparing the Adobe Cloud subscription each user is assigned to against the Adobe applications each user has installed on their desktop/laptop and finds potential license reclamation and downgrade opportunities. For example:
Sally is assigned to a subscription for Illustrator, but she does not have Illustrator installed on her laptop, meaning that she is not using her subscription and it should be assigned to another user.
Robert is assigned to the Adobe Cloud All Apps suite, but only has Acrobat installed. Robert should be downgraded from the All Apps subscription to an Acrobat Pro (Single App) subscription.
Kim has Photoshop installed, but Kim is not assigned to a Photoshop subscription in the Adobe Portal. This is a compliance risk. Either uninstall Photoshop from Kim's laptop or assign Kim to a Photoshop subscription.
If you have a discovery tool such as SCCM or the Flexera Agent that is able to capture the Usage of the installed Adobe applications, then further opportunities can be highlighted:
Nancy is assigned to Creative Cloud All Apps suite subscription. She has multiple Adobe applications installed, but is only using Acrobat. Nancy can be downgraded to an Acrobat Pro single app subscription.
Does anyone know a solution to this problem?
Hey @jjmcnabnz,
In short no as mentioned by @kclausen. There is no out of the box data provided by Adobe via their API.
We have an element of usage that can be provided by the usage agent, but in my experience certainly for Adobe apps there is limitations.
Personally I keep pinging our Adobe CSM to understand why usage data cannot be provided.
