Flexera One ServiceNow Scoped App uses the "Is Deleted" field in the Software Installations table to indicate whether a software installation is currently active on a device. This field is unique to Flexera One and is part of the integration, ensuring that accurate information is relayed to ServiceNow.
ServiceNow, on the other hand, uses the "Active Install" field in the Software Installations table to display active software installations. This field is leveraged in SAM reconciliation calculations and other processes. ServiceNow runs several built-in jobs or tools that manage this field, but when these processes run against already normalized data, they may incorrectly mark records as either "active true" or "active false."
Therefore, when using the Flexera One integration to display all active software installation records normalized by Flexera One, it is recommended to filter the data with "Is Deleted = false" and "Flexera One Unique ID is not empty."
