Tanium Inventory gathering failed. Error: An error occurred while enumerating through a collection

We are using the standard Tanium PowerShell connection from the FlexNet Beacon to import inventory.

We have gotten this message recently, which fails the import. 

Inventory gathering failed. Error: An error occurred while enumerating through a collection: Unexpected character encountered while parsing value: H. Path '', line 0, position 0

The message was returned while gathering InstallerEvidence and on a separate occasion while gathering Computers

Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Our Tanium inventory collection corrected itself with no definitive answer related to the error message.
