Azure HR Roster in SaaS Management

Hello,

We have recently obtained SaaS Manager and have started integrating our SaaS apps one by one. We would like to integrate Entra ID purely as the HR roster. I believe we will need to use Azure Client Credentials? For the purpose of using this purely as our HR Roster, am I correct in my understanding that the only permissions we would need are as follows? I believe the last two are mandatory or the integration will fail.

User.Read.All

AuditLog.Read.All

Directory.Read.All

Hi,

Yes you will need to use Azure Client Credentials, which integrates with Azure AD, the previous name of Entra.

To use it as an HR roster, you will need the task HR Roster to run successfully.

You are correct about the permissions needed for that task.

You will also a need a global Admin user role, to grant the application those required permissions.
