Known Issue: No consumption is calculated for licenses which use the 'Restrict to OS' setting (IOK-1055905)

Summary

Configuring the Restrict to OS setting to anything but “All” on a license record causes the consumption on the license to be 0, and relevant application installations on devices are not covered by the license.

The following license types are affected by this issue:

• Microsoft Server Processor
• Microsoft Server Core
• Microsoft Server/Management core
• Microsoft SCCM Client Device
• Microsoft SCCM Client User

Affected versions

This issue affects:

• FlexNet Manager Suite 2023 R1
• Flexera One ITAM

Fix status

This issue has been fixed in the following FlexNet Manager Suite releases: 2023 R1 (On Premises) Hotfix 1, 2023 R1.2 / Aug 2023 Cloud), 2023 R2 (On Premises)

I have been facing similar issue where OS is restricted to Windows Server, and the installation identified on the same, However Flexera rejected the installation on Windows Server.

Is there a work around for this issue that is recommended by Flexera?

@jimhusted - this issue has been addressed in Hotfix 1 for FlexNet Manager Suite 2023 R1.
