Known Issue: Downloading policy or client settings may fail when an agent is configured to use an IPv6 address to connect to a beacon (IOJ-2230252)
Symptoms
The installation (ndlaunch) agent may crash when attempting to download files related to the agent's policy or client settings when configured to connect to a beacon using an IPv6 address.
Details
When the issue occurs, the last line of logging that appears in the agent's installation.log file will look similar to the following (the specific URL of the file being downloaded may vary):

Fix details
This issue has been fixed by modifying the agent to be able to handle IPv6 addresses appearing in beacon URLs.

This issue has been fixed in the following FlexNet Manager Suite releases: 2021 R1.3 / Dec 2021 (Cloud), 2022 R1 (On Premises)
