An issue can occur after configuring an LDAP connection in FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications in which you're unable to pull user information to allow LDAP logins. This usually occurs due to the attributes configured in the domain information. If the target information in the domain information either doesn’t exist or the value is incorrect, user mapping will not work correctly.
The tables below demonstrate the most common Active Directory configuration that works in most environments. Follow the steps below to update your configuration to match. Screenshots of this configuration in the user interface are attached.
NOTE: If you have custom attributes in your environment, these may need to be considered.
