How do we configure Flexera to inventory Linux systems for application that are not installed with RPM?
Is there another way of identifying applications that are copied and not installed from RPM on Linux systems without running full scan?
Answer
Unfortunately, we don?t have method to collect the RIGHT ?unix file? evidence of the requested software without a full scan. If you know specific installation location, then you can specify it for agent to scan that location in the inventory process.
