Summary
HTTP Error 403.14 - Forbidden - The Web server is configured to not list the contents of this directory.
Synopsis
When user tries to access or test the default web services through Internet Explorer for FNMP, he gets a "Server Error in Application "DEFAULT WEB SITE/MANAGESOFTSERVICES"
HTTP Error 403.14 - Forbidden.
The reason for this is because the default document is not configured for the requested URL and directory browsing is not enabled on the Server.
Workaround
To fix this problem, please follow the instructions below:
Click on the Windows Start Button> Administrative Tools> IIS Manager> Expand <Server Name> > Expand Sites> Expand Default Web Site> ManagesoftServices> Double Click Directory Browsing under IIS> Click Enable.
Restart IIS and try the link again in Internet Explorer.
Eg. http://<ServerName>/ManagesoftServices
