How can the debug level be changed for log files generated by Flexnet Manager and Flexnet Agent?
Answer
For Flexnet Agent (FNA):

Make sure the FNA service has been stopped.

Once the application has been confirmed to be stopped. Run the command 'flexnet site', this will bring up the FNA Configurator.

Within FNA configuration step 1, click the box 'Show Advanced Settings'

A pop up window will be shown. Under the 'Startup Logging Threshold' make sure that 'Debug Messages' have been selected.

Once those fields have been completed, proceed to the end of the configurator and press 'Finish' to save the changes.
For Flexnet Manager Admin (FNM Admin):

Make sure the FNM Admin service has been stopped.

Once the application has been confirmed to be stopped. Run the command 'flexnet site', this will bring up the FNM Admin configurator.

Within the FNM Admin configuration step 1, check the box 'Show Advanced Settings'

Now proceed to Step 2 of 6, under the 'Startup Logging Threshold' make sure that 'Debug Messages' have been checked.

Once those fields have been completed, proceed to the end of the configurator and press 'Finish' to save the changes.
For Flexnet Manager Reporting (FNM Reporting):

Make sure the Reporting service has been stopped.

Once the application has been confirmed to be stopped. Run the command 'flexnet site', this will bring up the FNM Reporting configurator.

Within the FNM Reporting configuration step 1, check the box 'Show Advanced Settings'

Now proceed to Step 2 of 5, under the 'Startup Logging Threshold' make sure that Debug Messages have been checked.

Once those fields have been completed, proceed to the end of the configurator and press 'Finish' to save the changes.
