This article describes the agent upgrade reboot requirement
Question
If our agents are upgraded via policy (the recommended method), a reboot should not be required. This is due to the use of relaunch.exe which shuts down services before the msi is upgraded.
If upgrading via other means, a reboot is likely to be required.
