You can check if the product is being tracked(metered) at the Agent level. Usage tracking data is stored in the "usageagent.log" located on the agent device in the "C:\Windows\Temp\Managesoft" folder. Once you open the log, if the application/product is tracked you will see the following:

 

"KNOWN PRODUCT SESSION Start: Path to .exe" in the log file, this means the usage will be tracked and added to the session cache which is then turned into the .mmi usage files. Only applications/products that are currently being metered will be in this file.
