unable to send mail from Cognos Application

Hi,

While sending the mail from cognos application getting error.

A failure notification was sent
Error CNC-SDS-0410 The email message was not sent. Approximate message size: [897 B] The Mail server returned this error: [530 5.5.1 Access denied. ]
Error CNC-SDS-0335 Error returned from SMTP Server. The error message was: [530 5.5.1 Access denied. ]. The message could not be sent.

Any one can help on this. If provide any documentation for this also fine.

Note : from this server we are getting mail like heath check which we configured on the windows task scheduler.

The error you're seeing there suggests that the Cognos configuration doesn't have correct credentials or connection details for connecting to your SMTP server.
