The 15.0 FlexNet Inventory agent version was released in the year 2020, so it does not support Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 which was only released this year. The latest agent version is 19.0 (2022 R2), and that version does support Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 as per information on the following page: https://docs.flexera.com/FlexNetManagerSuite2022R2/EN/SysReq/index.html#FNMS_sys_req/RN_sys_req_prereq.html.
Also, it is recommend that all agents (and beacons) running versions prior to 2021 R1 (17.0) be upgraded to mitigate the vulnerability described on the following page: FlexNet Inventory Agent and Inventory Beacon Vulnerability Update IOJ-2210678.
