Intune adapter for FNMS?

We are doing migration from SCCM to Intune. Does Flexera have any plan to add adapters for Intune in FNMS on later version?

Hello,

As far as I know, InTune is not a valid source for licensing, as it contain limited data, you can see only the application that was distributed via InTune, you will have no visibility of the application installed outside InTune. Till now, the best way is to deploy Flexera Agents on the InTune devices, but you need to take care on how you will receive the inventory from that devices.

Also, the  Services Solution Library has an adapter. Access might be limited to Flexera partners.

Recently, Microsoft appears to have crippled one of the APIs used by the Intune Adapter in the Service Solution library so that it only returns one page of data (up to 50 records) of installed software even though there maybe more device/application pairs in the database. For example, the initial query returns a count of 200+ records, but there are only 50 records on the page and the API no longer returns an @odata.nextlink parameter to retrieve the next page.

Flexera has announced an out of box Intune adapter in April (ITAM FlexeraOne), see here https://docs.flexera.com/fnms/EN/InvAdapConn/index.html#adapters/Intune/topics/IntuneAdp-Overview.html

I heard the on premise FNMS will be the next release version to have default Intune adapter.

THanks for the info @Big_Kev . Based on a note at the bottom of a related URL IT Asset Management Inventory Adapters and Connectors Reference (Cloud Edition) Inventory Adapters and Connectors Reference - What data is retrieved (flexera.com), the fix for the issue I mentioned above seems to be to remove the usage data from the adapter. The part that's broken is app/device relationships.
