Flexera Analytics - You could not be signed into Flexera Analytics

We are receiving the following message when trying to access Analytics...

"Connection to FlexNet Manager Platform failed. Please make sure the FNMP admin server is up and running at http://xxxxxxxxxxx, and that the BusinessReportingAuthenticationService web service is correctly configured. Click on Sign in to login again."

This recently stopped working as we were able to access Analytics before.

On-premise solution.

Thanks Steven.  I submitted a case and received the following article...

https://community.flexera.com/t5/FlexNet-Manager-knowledge-base/Troubleshoot-Cognos/ta-p/2251

Issue 4 in the article resolved the problem I was encountering. I had to set the service account for the user identity in IIS > BusinessReportingAuthentication web service > Authentication > Anonymous Authentication.

Mark_m, Is this OnPremise or SaaS? Have you tried logging out, clearing the browser cache and logging back in? I am using the SaaS version and Analytics area occasionally does not open as expected. I cannot say for sure that the error you reported is the same that I have seen but perhaps it will still work. Thanks, Larry

Hi Larry,

Thanks for the response.  This is an on-premise solution. I have tried clearing the cache and restarting the browser, but no luck.

Thanks,

Mark

Hi Mark,

On the Flexera Analytics server, is the service IBM Cognos in a 'Running' status?

Hi Kyle,

Yes, the IBM Cognos service is running.

Thanks,

Mark

Hi Mark, Is your account assigned to the user role for cognos? Are you using the service account to access Cognos? I would submit a support case if these 2 are a yes.

Check the Flexnet.properties file from the folder - <C:\Program Files\ibm\cognos\analytics1\configuration> .

it should be http://flexnet server.
