ARL/SKU/PURL Update Failed

Hell All,

Facing issue with the ARL/SKU/PURL Update.

Below is the error.

[.RecognitionImportTool] [ERROR] Could not extract C:\ProgramData\Flexera Software\FlexNet Manager Platform\DataImport\Content\SKU

[.RecognitionImportTool] [ERROR] Failed to verify the digital signature of the file 'C:\ProgramData\Flexera Software\FlexNet Manager Platform\DataImport\Content\SKU\5a2b2db0da6a425cbf50e2ee16e33591-PURL-Microsoft.cab'.

Is there any other apart from Manual import?

Some common causes of an error like this are:

  1. The digital signature used on the ARL/SKU/PURL cab files is not trusted by the server. The following article provides some tips on how to verify that: Digital Signature upgrade for loading Content libraries
  2. A web proxy is returns different content (such as an HTML page) instead of the CAB file content downloaded from the Internet. To verify, try to open the 'C:\ProgramData\Flexera Software\FlexNet Manager Platform\DataImport\Content\SKU\5a2b2db0da6a425cbf50e2ee16e33591-PURL-Microsoft.cab' file in Windows Explorer and see if it can be opened, or even open it in (say) notepad to see if it looks like real compressed content.
  3. A web proxy is terminating the download of large files before they are finished, but no error code is detected by the library update process.

  1. I have verified the digital signature it's look good for PURL.cab & RecognitionAfter82.cab 
  2. I have tried to open the 'C:\ProgramData\Flexera Software\FlexNet Manager Platform\DataImport\Content\SKU\5a2b2db0da6a425cbf50e2ee16e33591-PURL-Microsoft.cab' file but it showing error "Cannot open the cabinet file".
  3. I guess files are getting downloaded correctly. Below are the logs.

@AjaykumarPatil - What is the file size of your downloaded PURL.cab file?  It should be close to 908,794 KB.

If your downloaded file is smaller, it means that the file is not getting downloaded correctly through your internal network and firewalls.
