FlexNet Manager Platform / Suite – SKU, PURL & Bundle updates (Release #508)

The SKU, Product Use Rights Libraries (PURL) and Bundles libraries, used by FlexNet Manager Suite have been updated. For on premise customers the SKU/PURL/Bundles libraries have been published and are now available.

Customers of FlexNet Manager Suite Cloud will have this update applied by the Recognition Data Import task and be available on Monday, Aug 29^th 2022 in your time zone.

What's new in this release?

Refreshed ‘Adobe Creative Cloud Photography Plan’ bundle with new SKUs & latest versioned applications and is now in sync with Adobe license literature.
Refreshed and published the below two bundles which were not published before due to lack of required applications.

Cleared 71 ignored applications from bundles and replaced them with an active application.
Refreshed 58 bundles from below listed 40 product families. These bundles are made consistent with latest IBM/HCL documentation, along with latest available SKUs and applications mapping.

A new IBM bundle ‘Rational ClearQuest and ClearQuest Multisite 9.0’ has been published.
2,179 new SKUs have been added. The following table provides an overview of the number of SKUs with respect to publisher:

1,161 SKUs are now mapped to its respective applications.
SKUs without applications for Oracle and Symantec (includes Veritas, Broadcom, NortonLifeLock etc) have been revisited. This release publishes 3,122 new mappings of which 38 are for Oracle and 3084 for Symantec.

SKUs without PURL templates have been refreshed and 1,320 SKUs are now linked to its license templates. Details on number of SKUs covered across each publisher is here:

Total number of SKUs in the library is 2,181,374 across 1,388 publishers.
Total number of PURL templates is 4,018 across 49 publishers.
Total number of published Bundles is 4,489 across 21 publishers.

How can I verify that my SKU Library has been updated?

You can inspect the changed data in the SKU Library with the SKU Library Update Report. The regular schedule for SKU/PURL updates

We expect the next update to the PURL & SKU Library to be available on Friday, September 23^rd 2022. The libraries are available as soon as published and are updated daily via the Recognition Data Import task, or as otherwise reflected in your local configuration. Customers of FlexNet Manager Suite Cloud will have this update applied by Monday, September 26^th 2022 in your time zone.
