In the Administration Console, the ServiceNow normalize job will fail immediately with the error "New Export cannot be started" if the MID Server is not set up correctly in ServiceNow. This can occur if the MID Server is not selected or the MID Server is down.
If this issue occurs, you will see the error below in the ServiceNow applications logs.
ExporeCore.canExport_internal: New export cannot be started: Required export target is not available
To correct the error:
1. Go toFlexera Integration > Export Properties in the ServiceNow instance.
2. Ensure a MID Server is selected. If the MID Server field is empty, click on the search icon to select an available MID Server.
