How do you remove obsolete devices from Data Platform

Hi, I have a list of Network and server devices that are retired in CMDB. How can I remove these devices from Data Platform?

Note I have imported Network devices using the Excel Importer.

Did you test if you can leverage the 'Inventory Is Latest?' attribute to filter away retired devices from your reports? (I assume that newer Excel based imports wouldn't include retired devices...)
